The first single from Lu’s upcoming album, “Tetsuo & Youth”, produced by Soundz and Duke Da Monsta. Powerful message about standing up to cancer.

Lupe Fiasco ft. Gizzle – DopeBoysAtAllStarWeekend
Lupe Fiasco – Piru Blues
Not too crazy about most of Lupe’s more current songs, but this one dope.

Niggas do that in real life? I thought people just did that in cartoons. Why they gotta throw it during “Kick, Push” tho?

Best and Worst “Control” Responses So Far
Even though no one that was mentioned on the damn song has responded with a track, other rappers decided to give it a shot. Some were dope, others….not so much.
Best:
1.) Joell Ortiz: So far, I don’t think any of the responders have outdone Slaughterhouse’s Joell Ortiz. Being from NY, he didn’t take too kindly to K.Dot calling himself the “King of New York”. Joell brought legit heat on his track. It sounded more like a retaliation than a plain response.
2.) Cassidy: Cass’s response was good too. He mostly used wordplay, and that’s one of the things that he’s known for. I peeped a couple more shots at Meek Mill were taken on the song. That shit is old to me, but overall, good response.
3.) Lupe Fiasco: At first, Lupe took a jab at Kendrick on Twitter, but I wasn’t expecting Lu to drop some shit. Then he hit the world with SLR 2 (Super Lupe Raps). The first time I heard it I just thought it was aight, but the 2nd time it really grew on me. Had good wordplay, some German, Adolf Hitler type shit was mentioned. Pretty dope.
4.) Los: I normally don’t care for Los’ music, but his response also impressed me. He even name dropped quite a few rappers, actually they were more like shout-outs. He gave credit where credit was due, he showed the artists respect in a unique way.
Worst:
B.O.B.: Bob has never been a rapper I gave one fuck about, and his response to “Control” hasn’t made me change that mindset. He used the flow Kendrick used on the 2nd “Swimming Pools” verse, then switched to the flow Drake used on “Versace” then had an average-sounding guitar solo…..Disappointing
Fred da Godson: For anyone who has no idea who Fred is, (Which is probably most people), he was a XXL Freshman the same year as Kendrick was, and probably went on to be the least successful out of the 11 rappers that year. I honestly don’t even remember what the nigga said in the response, all I’m sure of was that I didn’t like it…at all.
Classic Cyphers: Lupe Fiasco, Styles P, Papoose (2006)
Another great cypher. This one’s from the 2006 BET Hip-Hop Awards
