Top 5 Best TDE/Black Hippy Collabs

The hottest crew in hip-hop right now. Jay Rock used to be the leader in their early days, then Kendrick made his way to the forefront of not only the group, but today’s hip-hop as a whole. ScHoolboy ended up being the second breakout star, with successful singles and his Billboard-topping album Oxymoron. Lil Wayne Says “Nobody is Touching Kendrick Lamar” and Why He Doesn’t Say He’s “The Best Rapper Alive” Anymore

While at SXSW, Wayne was interview by Elliott Wilson for the CRWN series. During the talk, when speaking of TDE artist, Kendrick Lamar, he stated “Ain’t nobody touchin’ that dude.” And when speaking of YMCMB artists, he thinks that Nicki Minaj is the best overall rapper and that Drake is a “wonderful person”. Drake Says that Macklemore Apologizing to Kendrick Lamar was “Whack as Fuck”

Drizzy did an interview with Rolling Stone and commented on Macklemore apologizing to Kendrick for the whole GRAMMYs situation. Drake said:

“I was like, ‘You won. Why are you posting your text message? Just chill. Take your W, and if you feel you didn’t deserve it, go get better — make better music,’” he tells us. “It felt cheap. It didn’t feel genuine. Why do that? Why feel guilt? You think those guys would pay homage to you if they won?”

I did think it was kinda whack that Macklemore felt the need to post the picture of the text though. That’s sort of like when celebrities do nice things and then broadcast it. I wonder if Drake would’ve had this reaction if Macklemore apologized to him instead of Kendrick. Noticed how nobody said “Drake got robbed”?
